The St. Bernards Healthline is an easy way to gain access to physicians, information, scheduling and programs. This phone number is available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. 

* St. Bernards Medical Center requires that all healthcare personnel wear masks in patient care areas beginning 12/30/22 due to high regional transmissions of viruses, including COVID-19, influenza and RSV. St. Bernards will have masks readily available in welcome areas, and we highly encourage patients and visitors to use them when possible.

Medical Center Amenities
  • A free shuttle service transports visitors between the North Parking Lot and the hospital’s Main Entrance, Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. To contact the shuttle driver or request special shuttle service, call 4468 using a hospital phone or 870.207.4468
  • Free parking is available 24 hours a day on the St. Bernards hospital campus. The walkway from the main parking area, the Parking Deck, to the hospital connects with the 1st floor (Red Level). Free parking is also available in the North Parking Lot, across from the Emergency Room driveway. For convenience, the Admissions Entrance has a drop-off area for passengers, prior to parking.   • Cafeteria open Monday-Sunday with a Salad Bar + a Specialty Bar at lunch. Breakfast is served from 6:30am-10am, Lunch from 10:30am-1:30pm, and Dinner from 4:30pm-8:00pm. 
  • The 1900 Market (Entry level of Surgical Tower) serves Shadrachs Coffee & Drinks, Pastries, Pizza, Sandwiches, and offers Grab & Go items.

Visitor Policy

Inpatient Visitor Policy

The support of loved ones plays an important role in patient recovery. St. Bernards has designed its family and visitor policy to help make this possible, while providing an atmosphere of healing for patients. 

NON-COVID AREAS:

  • Medical-Surgical/Stepdown: Up to four visitors at the bedside at a time. There is no time limit on visitation.
  • ICU: Two visitors at the bedside at a time. 
  • OB and Pediatrics: May have up to 3 visitors at a time, including siblings.

COVID AREAS:

Two visitors allowed per day for up to one hour each. It does not have to be the same two visitors each day. Mask, gown, gloves and goggles must be worn during the entire visitation time. Visitors should remain in the patient room at all times during visitation. Children must be at least 15 years of age.

Emergency Department Visitor Policy

Visitation in the Emergency Department is limited to:

  • Two designated visitors per patient, but only one visitor at a time
  • Visitor must be 10 years of age or older 

All visitors must stay in the patient room at all times.

Heart, Cancer, and Surgery Center Visitor Policy

Visitors in the Heart Care Center and Cancer Center are limited to:

  • ONE adult who provides comfort care/end-of-life decisions
  • ONE adult who supports a patient who would otherwise require a sitter
  • No visitors are allowed in the Infusion Treatment area of the Cancer Center. 

All visitors and patients in the Cancer Center must wear a mask at all times. A mask will be provided if the visitor/patient does not have one of their own.

Other visitors are not allowed to wait inside St. Bernards Medical Center. They must wait in their car or leave the St. Bernards Medical Center campus. 

Patients will have the opportunity to contact a family member by telephone or video.

St. Bernards Medical Center staff can also call family members on behalf of the patient.  

Surgical patients will be allowed one visitor during the surgical procedure.
