St. Bernards' Respiratory Care Services include pulmonary specialists and talented respiratory care therapists who can help you breathe easier by treating respiratory diseases like asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, emphysema, chronic pulmonary disease (COPD). In fact, our respiratory care specialists treat thousands of people for acute and chronic respiratory conditions each year in our emergency room, intensive care units, nursery, pediatric unit and other clinical floor settings.
At St. Bernards' Respiratory Care Services, our respiratory care therapists/technicians use modalities such as clinical endotracheal intubation, adult and pediatric/neonatal ventilator management, nebulization, pulmonary clearance, blood gas analysis, hyperexpansion and oxygen therapy. Assistance is provided to pulmonary care specialists during diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy and cardioversions. Respiratory Care Services are available on both inpatient and outpatient basis.
