The St. Bernards Outpatient Dialysis Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas was established in 1978 for the purpose of providing a regimen of treatment which will meet the specific needs of dialysis patients with both acute and chronic renal failure problems.
St. Bernards dialysis center in Jonesboro is one of the few Arkansas hospitals that offers hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis to kidney disease patients. Dialysis is provided in outpatient, inpatient and home settings, and patients receive individualized education based on specific needs.
There are four units currently present - Jonesboro Dialysis Unit, Wynne Dialysis Unit, Osceola Dialysis Unit and our Home Dialysis Clinic.
Our Home Dialysis unit is adjacent to the Outpatient Dialysis Unit in Jonesboro and is staffed with RNs 24/7 who have been trained in the Home Dialysis method.
The dialysis clinics employee master-prepared licensed Social Workers and master-prepared Registered Dietitians available to meet the individual needs of each patient. All clinics have specially-trained dialysis nurses and technicians who have received intensive training in dialysis techniques. The Jonesboro Dialysis Unit presently has 20 dialysis stations and isolation rooms available.
The Wynne Dialysis Unit located at CrossRidge Community Hospital has 12 dialysis stations, plus two isolation rooms available, and the Osceola Dialysis Unit has 12 dialysis stations, isolation rooms available and a Home Dialysis clinic.
