Baby State —
Are you a parent-to-be? This can be an exciting and overwhelming time, trying to predict just what having a baby will be like. You might have even heard others comment that you wish babies came with instructions. Well, you are in luck! Baby State is the perfect place to get your questions answered and learn about the baby for first-time moms and dads. This event is free and packed with value for your growing family. Gather up all the questions you can and come out for a night of gifts, door prizes, snacks, and fun. While there, you can also meet the St. Bernards maternity team, who will be taking care of you and your baby.
Baby State takes place quarterly at St. Bernards Auditorium – 505 East Washington Street. Watch the calendar of events for the next Baby State Event.
Breastfeeding Class —
Making breastfeeding successful is a goal for our team at St. Bernards. A baby can receive many benefits from breastmilk between birth and one year. To help parents develop successful breastfeeding stories, our board-certified lactation consultants provide a free breastfeeding class to all parents. These classes are offered on the first Tuesday every other month from 6:00pm - 8:30pm in Stroud Hall (Mezzanine Level of Cancer Center).
The class offers parents all they need to know to make breastfeeding as successful as possible. The class is taught by a board-certified lactation consultant who is more than experienced in answering all your questions.
Childbirth/Prenatal Class —
These classes are offered on the third Tuesday of every other month from 6:00pm - 8:30pm in the St. Bernards Medical Center Community Room.
Check our calendar of events for upcoming dates and more classes/event opportunities.
