Total Life Healthcare Rehabilitation Services —
St. Bernards Total Life Health Care was the first established PACE program in Arkansas. PACE stands for Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly. St. Bernards recognized the need and struggle that the elderly experience and sought a way to provide comprehensive care to our elderly community.
The Total Life Health Care team recognized that transportation is one of the greatest challenges the elderly face. This is why our Total Life Health Care Transporation department travels to seven different counties, picking up participants and bringing them to the facility for doctors' appointments or care at the day center.
The Total Life Health Care interdisciplinary team takes great care with each enrollment to assess the needs and focus on the goals of the participant and their caregiver. This coordinated team approach allows the team to allocate the necessary funds in the participant's best interest. With the focus on comprehensive care, St. Bernards receives payments from Medicare and Medicaid to provide all the participants' Total Life Health Care services.
At Total Life Health Care, our team understands that socialization is also an essential component to the overall wellbeing and mental health of an elderly senior. When participants come to the center, they enjoy a day out of the house with their peers participating in activities, receiving therapy, having a hot lunch, and visiting their doctor. This extensive care benefits not only the participants but also the caregiver. Providing the gift of time and the relief of knowing an engaged dementia-certified specialist is looking after their loved one.
Our coordinated team of professionals includes:
- Doctors
- Nurses
- Social Workers
- Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Recreational Therapists
