Since we began our mission in 1900, St. Bernards has been committed to helping the people of Northeast Arkansas be healthier and to make high-quality, affordable healthcare available to all. This mission might be referred to as population health management or even the Triple Aim in today’s world. But, regardless of what you call it, what really matters is that a health system has to deliver on the promise to help people live their healthiest and to make it both easy and affordable to access the resources they need to prevent, diagnose and treat health problems.
At St. Bernards, this is what we do. It’s who we are. And it’s why we’ve always been the region’s leader in providing education, health screenings, physician access, and other ways to meet the community need. To accomplish this, our medical staff, including primary care physicians, nurse specialists, nutritionists, and educators, constantly work with municipalities, school systems, and the business community to address the health needs throughout the region.
Our goal is to help more and more people receive the medical care they need so they can stay out of the hospital more. We continue to find new ways to provide care more effectively, improve our outcomes, and do our part to contain healthcare costs.
