Genetic Testing for Ovarian Cancer Risk

After a diagnosis of ovarian cancer, ask your doctor for a referral to genetic testing at St. Bernards Cancer Center. This test shows if you have certain genetic mutations that contribute to ovarian cancer. If you have these mutations, your parents or children may have them as well. Your test results can help your family members take steps to protect their health, such as talking to their doctor about their risk of ovarian cancer.
