At St. Bernards, we are committed to improving the emotional health of our community. We understand that living with addiction, anxiety, depression, anger, and phobias can be debilitating. The psychologists at St. Bernards use a comprehensive approach to examine the patient's mind and behaviors. This approach determines ways to end harmful behavior while working with the patient to create a long-term strategy for improving mental health.
At St. Bernards, patients receive psychological care through counseling, group therapy, and other methods. Patients learn to recognize triggers and contributing factors affecting their mental health in these processes. Psychological care does not include medication. With these treatment options, patients work to develop skills and strategies to manage patterns, overcome disorders, and prevent relapse.
