I called to check on getting a test run for A1C. A person called me back and indicated that if I wanted to get a full profile, then the doctor would have to schedule me an appointment. But if all I wanted was the A1C test, I could come in at any time and give blood. But when I arrived at the facility the next day, I was told that that was incorrect and that I would need an appointment any time blood is drawn. However, Dr. Hurst graciously allowed me to give the blood test anyway. So the only issue I have is that whoever called me back did not provide accurate information.

Everything was great. But on a side note, I resent St Bernard's billing. Every single time I visit, I ask what my balance is(if any) and I pay it. But I've recently had St. Bernard's send a $29 bill to Professional Credit Management. I have a credit score of 827 as of today. The fact St. Bernard's would do such a thing is appalling. Especially since I pay any and all balances when I have a doctors visit.

When a patient comes in for a wellness visit the claim and the lab ordered needs to have a wellness diagnosis so insurance will process and a wellness. Also, when you have refills those need to be sent to the pharmacy right after your visit. I left two messages on the portal and then I had to call to get my refills sent to the pharmacy.

While waiting in the lab area, the healthcare workers/students in the lab area were talking loudly about other people in an unkind manner. I would have hated for one of the patients to know who they were talking about. They never know when it could be someone's family or friends. Very unprofessional.

I had to reestablish my PCP even though Dr Hurst has been mine for over 20 years. Lady said it was because I hadn't been in the last 3 years, but pretty sure it been 2 years. All my visits are gone from my portal with Dr Hurst, but my ER records, Dermatology Clinc, and PT clinic are still in my portal, some of them 7 years old. Had to establish as a new patient. Little frustrating, but staff was nice guiding me thru it. Thanks for letting me have my Doctor back, he's the best!

I was in excruciating pain. I feel like I was having a reaction to some new medication I was taking for a sore arm. It took a long time before I could get easy. I also was nauseated and my stomach was sore from throwing up. The doctor I saw in the emergency room listened to what I told him. He gave me a number for a gastroenterologist.

I was in the room with for 3 minutes with my provider. I am a provider as well and know sometimes there's just not a lot to cover - people are genuinely healthy. What bothers me is that I am uninsured and had to pay $140 for what took maybe 10 minutes of time (again, I am a provider and know even documenting and reviewing a healthy persons chart doesn't take long). This is absurd. 10 minutes a of providers time should not cost $140!!

My appointment was at 3:00 PM. I was instructed to arrive ten minutes prior to the appointment. I waited an hour and twenty first be minutes before being called back to visit with the doctor. I realize there are many variables that affect this factor, but that is very different inconsiderate of my time to make me spend 85 minutes of my time for an appointment.

My in person experience was great but two of my prescriptions were not called in and now it's the weekend and I don't have anymore of this particular medication. I called and left a message with my doctor's nurse two days in a row with no refill sent nor a callback from my physicians office. Dr. Hurst is amazing, but his staff can be a challenge to navigate.

The tech that drawed blood for my labs was not professional. She had a tag that said "hello I am doing the best I can". She stuck the needle in my arm and wiggled it around several times before trying the other arm. I passed out sitting in the chair and she walked off leaving my boyfriend to take care of me.

First care has the slowest, most unprofessional clerks when making an appointment. It shouldn't be that difficult for someone to answer the telephone!!!!!!!!!!!! You call repeated to be told to leave your information and they will respond later!! This is so frustrating. You need to get a better call center. This is a continue complaint!!! Separate number to leave a voicemail for nurses. Worst call center!!!!!

the computer system not working correctly left me sitting waiting for blood work and urine sample. they had to go ask to be able to get what they needed and managed to get it printed off. also while checking in the scanner would not work to scan my insurance card. probably be a good idea to get St Bernards I.T. folks to check your network out....

We were schedule for 12:15pm, we didn't get called back for pre op until well after 1:00pm. While waiting for the scheduled date we had multiple calls/texts about money and what needed to be done before or during. Most didn't match at all. But the drs and nurses were great during the procedure.

I'm somewhat taken back with the wait time in the reception area and exam room. However, I remain patient because I understand earlier appointments are receiving the detailed care I trust I will receive. However with consistency, there remains a significant amount of time between scheduled appointment time and actually consulting with a physician.

My experience was exceptional. I found it to be actually quite stupendous. My physician throughly elaborated everything in a manner where I was able to understand. When we conversed last time we weren't quite able to apprehend what each other was stating, however this time we were able to conduct a conversation that was more plausible for both parties.

I keep extensive records of my home blood tests, blood pressures, weight etc. for my review with my doctor, however they don't seem to matter in most cases. The discussions are short, and I feel it is a race to get me in and out. This visit I had 3 items I wanted to discuss, and we spent less that 3 minutes on them and i felt brushed off and left with questions about them.

I had an appointment with dr Hurst (redacted) so that I could get refills on my medications. After my appointment was over, my prescriptions were never sent to the pharmacy. The next day, myself and the pharmacy followed up on my prescriptions, and I never received a call back from the doctor or nurse about it. The pharmacy hasn't refilled my prescriptions so I don't think they did either.
