I am so happy to have found Dr Vance!

They didn't seem to know about my medical history because I have never been seen at that facility. I also haven't been to any St Bernard's since 2012

other than in unacceptable delay in being seen, everything was fine.

Original phone call to schedule as a new patient was roughly 2-3 months ago and that was for first available. First patient of the day and waited alone in room to be seen for over 20-25 minutes.

The wait time was horrible. I was instructed to arrive 20 minutes ahead of time and that if I was late my appointment would be cancelled. Yet, I arrived early and it still took over 2hrs for me to see my doctor. My appointment was at 1pm. I arrived at 12:40pm. But I didn't leave until after 3:30pm. That was not acceptable!!! And if this is the norm, I won't continue my medical care here.

Dr. Vance and her staff were wonderful.

I just felt like the doctor didn't have good bedside manner. I didn't feel like I was listened to very well. Like, my concerns were, or there wasn't any type of solutions or, you know, I felt like I was dismissed and kind of treated as a number rushed through really quickly.

Dr. Vance and her nursing staff are awesome. It's been a stressful 6 months and they've provided the best care. They've heard all concerns and have discussed or addressed those concerns.

I would've had a better experience if the one that made my appointment would've allotted Dr. Vance more time to do what I had scheduled to be done.

An annual check up should not take over 2 hours. The majority of that 2 hours was spent waiting-with no explanation or communication as to why. Not sure why I was called back only to be weighed and then sent back to main waiting room. When I asked if she would take my blood pressure she replied they will once in exam room. I wait 30 more minutes in the main waiting room. Finally called back to exam room and the nurse hands me the paper gown. She does not take my blood pressure. I wait for one hour in the exam room. I can hear the doctor speaking with a patient in a room next door. Better sound proofing is needed. I can hear nurses chatting right outside the door. Again- it's been 60 minutes since anyone spoke to me. Just when I am about to open the door to inquire how much longer and to remind them I am in here-the doctor comes in. No apology for the long wait. The doctor probably has not been informed I've been waiting in a paper gown for an hour. I understand emergencies can occur and I will patiently and understandingly wait. I don't think this was the case. No nurse came to my room to offer any explanation as to why I was still waiting to see doctor. The doctor was thorough and spent quality time with me. The visit with doctor was not rushed. To me it appears that the clinic cannot handle the patient load. Appointments are overbooked and patients are overlooked. Better communication among staff, nurses and doctors is needed. It all feels disjointed and not seamless. This experience of long waits in paper gowns is an ongoing theme at OB/GYN. I am a fan of the doctor, not the clinic. Thank you.

Despite running behind, the office kept me updated and made sure I knew Dr. Vance was behind but would be with me asap. I wouldn't go anywhere else for care. Dr. Vance is kind and knowledgeable.

Dr. S. Vance is a very thorough doctor. She carefully evaluated every aspect of my pregnancy. Bringing in specialist when necessary. Her proactive approach resulted in averting dangerous conditions with me and my baby. As an African American woman I felt safe in her care.

My experience from the front desk to getting my ultrasound to talking with Dr Vance and even checking out was 10/10 I felt heard finally! I actually got emotional but in a good way.

I waited over an hr past my appt time before I was even called back to a room.

The clinician I saw listened and asked thoughtful questions. She was very professional in what is a private kind of care. The staff was kind and welcoming.

I believe this was the best experience I have had with a medical staff. They were all so courteous and helpful. I was greeted and given information packet to fill out and they called me back before I could finish. I barely had to wait. The nurses and physician were awesome.

Everyone I came in contact with was really nice, treated me with respect and cared, acted like they cared what I had going on with me. I would recommend them any day. Thank you.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vance and her amazing nurse, Anita! From the very first appointment, they made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Vance is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but she takes the time to truly listen and explain everything in a way that makes sense. She has a calm, reassuring presence that makes even the most nerve-wracking situations feel manageable. Anita is the perfect complement to Dr. Vance's care-she's kind, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and informed. Whether it's answering questions, following up after an appointment, or just offering a warm smile, she truly makes you feel cared for on a personal level. Together, they create an environment where you feel safe, heard, and respected. I'm so grateful to have them as part of my healthcare team and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional OB-GYN care!

I've only had one appointment and my overall interactions were not great. I'm hoping it gets better. Examples: -it took weeks for my healthcare to "go through" and at first I was told I'd have to pay like I didn't have healthcare before I had to problem solve -the doctor seemed like she was having a bad day or that she didn't like me -a nurse in training was unprofessional and made a negative side comment about something in my health history while reviewing my paperwork -I received a missed call from a nurse and was told no voicemail was left because of a busy signal. My phone doesn't give busy signals, they did not want to wait the whole 6 rings to leave a message. I didn't get a call back before end of business and now have all weekend to hope it wasn't anything serious.

Fast , friendly, and courteous

Something I did not appreciate was I got the feeling that an intern came in while I was being examined, but I was told that she was an assistant. I've never seen her that before, and there's something about her that just seemed very inexperienced, disobserving, and I didn't feel like I was, the truth was given to me. So I just wanted to pass that on. I just feel like it was, an assistant, not an assistant, but an intern, and maybe they're telling everybody that she's an assistant. So, that's all. Thank you.

My experience with this OB-GYN office is the only reason I will not be switching my care to another hospital. They were understanding of my situation and were open to helping me in whatever way I needed. My previous ER experience nearly turned me away from St. Bernard's completely, but this office and the people who spoke with me changed my mind.

i had the best experience ever. the nurse and doctor were so nice. They did my procedure in record time. i will definitely use the same doctor again and recommend her.

My experience was all positive. Everyone was nice and treated me as tho I was the only one there. All my questions were answered. Dr. Vance answered my questions in a way I could understand and gave me the information I needed to make the right desision for my issue.

Dr Vance and her nurse, Anita took time to listen to my Health concerns. They went an extra step to do an ultrasound that I was not expecting on my visit but was needed to make sure everything was alright.

Everyone was friendly and very professional. The exam part was done very quickly. They also called me for my mammogram appointment in a timely manner.

My appointment was at 1 and i got there at 12:30 and had to wait until 2:30 to see my doctor

Yes, this is solid for him and I am very pleased with OBGYN.

Dr. Serena Vance has been fantastic and performed a C-section with both of my girls. Highly recommend.

Dr. Vance is an incredible doctor who listens and explains everything so that you know exactly what is going on with you. Very kind and treats you like you are her only patient and really takes the time to listen. You never feel like she is just rushing out to the next person. She is sincere and wonderful person and I would and do trust her with any medical care I need. I recommend her to anyone who needs help. I could go on and on but bottom line she is exceptional!

Dr. Vance was absolutely wonderful. She listened to my concerns. She addressed them, period. Her nurse, I think her name is Tina, was very professional, very sweet, and made me feel very comfortable.

Dr Vance is fantastic, as well as all of her staff. I recommend everyone to her!

I love St.Bernards

I was transferred because of me being high risk. I was not spoken to about this or any of my history with the actual doctor. Then the right blood tests were not ordered because of this. Now I will have to make another trip to Jonesboro (I live a little over an hour away) to have additional blood tests done. I don't feel the doctor I seen was a good match for me personally and I don't necessarily feel safe having her as my doctor.

I am very comfortable with Dr. Vance and her staff. They are patient with my concerns and questions. Thankful for the service they provide to me.

Leah the pct was very helpful and nice. Dr Vance was great as always. She is very knowledgeable and made the visit seem like a collaboration with my thoughts and feelings, not just her telling me what to do.

I felt like that the visit was very good with my doctor, but too long a wait and taking too long. I was there at 9:15. My appointment was at 9:15 and I did not get out of the office until 11 o'clock and that was two hours and all I had was a checkup and visit with a doctor about my problem.

Dr. Vance has been a wonderful Doctor, and has been very patient and accommodating for my special needs, situation, and health conditions.

Only complaint was the wait time, I was there for 2 1/2 hours for a yearly checkup

I was extremely nervous and my anxiety level was through the roof, but the staff made me feel at ease.

It was a good visit other than them wanting me to pay $527 a month for having a baby

Seems my dr had a ton of appointments at the same time (which is not her fault) but maybe they should spread her load out more. I had my ultrasound, then got sent back out to the waiting room. Then had my weight checked and the nurse told me to walk down to another nurse and they'd place me in a room. No room available so told us to walk back out. 25 minutes later a room was available to see me Dr for 3 minutes lol.

Dr. Vance was phenomenal. This was my first visit with her. I have previously spent many years with a different OB who blamed literally every single solitary issue on my weight. (Shocker, after losing and maintaining weight that put me at a BMI of 24, the issues continued. At that point, I was told "well it's just part of womanhood".) So, I scheduled with Dr. Vance. She was a breath of fresh air. She reviewed my full history before ever entering the exam room. She listened to me, explained that my issues are NOT "just part of womanhood", gave me several different options for treatment along with literature to take home so I could make an informed decision and... most of all... she listened to me. Heard me. Believed me. I am not an emotional person, but I broke down in tears because this woman was actually hearing me and trying to help. If only I had met Dr. Vance a few years earlier, perhaps my dreams of being a mom could have come true. I'm so glad she is there for others who still have the possibility of motherhood. And for all of those who haven't been heard by other doctors. The young lady who did my ultrasound was very professional and kind. A vaginal ultrasound isn't the most pleasant experience, but she made it as pleasant as possible. She did a great job distracting me with conversation while she completed her job. She also made me feels as comfortable as possible. The young lady who checked me out at the end of my visit was kind and helpful. My only complaint would be the front desk staff. The young lady who checked me in was very nice and pleasant. She did everything quickly and with ease. That said, several other members of the front desk staff were very off putting. Unfortunately, I didn't see anyone's name, but there was a blonde woman sitting to the left of the young lady who checked me in. (My left, as I was facing her.) She made me very uncomfortable the entire time I stood at the desk, while I sat in the waiting room and again when I left. I have a physical issue that probably catches the attention of many people. This blonde woman did not take her eyes off of my "issue" the entire time. When I spoke to her (some type of pleasantry), she looked me up and down, looked down to another girl who was seated at another desk, made a face and then they both grinned. She then gave a one word response to my greeting while continuing to stare at my deformity. It was clear she wanted me to know how disgusted she found me. I've lived with this deformity since I was 11 years old. Plenty of people have stared. Some have even said things. But I have never had someone in a professional setting so blatantly stare at me for an extended period of time... then go so far as to catch the eye of a coworker, glance back and me and grin at the coworker, as if to say, "hey look at this freak! When leaving, she continued to stare. I smiled at her in effort to combat the awkwardness. (redacted)

The whole doctor's office, everyone was very friendly and very professional. Dr. Vance, she was very good and attentive and she listened very well. She knew my history very good. And overall, it was a really great visit. I have no complaints.

Dr did not do a full examination & never asked if I had any questions. I felt very rushed after waiting an hour and 1/2. It was a yearly physical and no breast examination was done. I'm also at menopause age & I was never asked if I had any concerns or questions, which I had previously told the nurse I had some things I would like to discuss. I have used this office for over 30 years but the care has definitely declined & I will not go back to this provider!

I travel an hour just to go to this office.

I Appreciate how kind all the Staff and Dr Vance was. Excellent Service. Appreciate the very speedy response to get me in the Clinic. And Loved that Doctor was right on top of figuring out what was wrong with me and getting more Appointments set up to take care of the issue. Thank Y'all
