Nirajan Bhandari, MD

Dr. Bhandari is a pediatrician originally from Nepal who completed pediatric residency training in New York. Dr. Bhandari is excited to join St. Bernards as a Pediatric Hospitalist and looks forward to caring for children and supporting their families during their hospital stay.

Dr. Bhandari chose pediatrics because of a love for working with children, who keep every day interesting and serve as a constant reminder that medicine is never boring. Dr. Bhandari is passionate about providing compassionate, family-centered care and helping make the hospital experience a little less scary for patients and, hopefully, a little less stressful for their parents.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bhandari enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new foods, exploring new places and spending time with friends. Dr. Bhandari is excited to become part of the Jonesboro community and looks forward to exploring Arkansas while continuing the unofficial training of keeping up with the endless energy of pediatric patients.
