Melanie Burnett is the Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services with experience leading pharmacy operations and clinical service development in her prior roles as Inpatient Pharmacy Director and Clinical Pharmacy Manager. She reestablished the hospital's PGY1 pharmacy residency program and expanded clinical pharmacy services across multiple departments. Her work has focused on improving medication management processes, supporting resident training and strengthening the role of pharmacists in patient care. She is now focused on the development of outpatient pharmacy services within the St. Bernards system. Dr. Burnett earned her MBA from the University of Arkansas in 2005 and her PharmD from University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2011.
