Front desk personnel need to be a bit more friendly. Intake nurse was very sweet but I dislike being called back only for vitals and then sent back to waiting room! Dr Wiggins is the best though! Takes his time, listens and always allows you to voice input on your own care.

The only issue i Experienced was i had spam calls silenced on my phone and I didn't receive any of the calls from the dr or staff during my Husbands surgery. I ask the nurses and they said sometimes the hospitals number sometimes shows up as spam.

Dr Wiggins is an wonderful doctor. He stays on top of bloodwork. My previous PCP did not have blood drawn unless I requested it. I feel like Dr Wiggins saved my life by sending me to the ER for a blood transfusion on (redacted).

Dr. Wiggins got the ball rolling to make sure I was taken care of appropriately. He looked beyond traditional numbers and what things appeared at face value. I had CABG x4 roughly a week ago. Thank The Lord that he placed Dr. Wiggins in my life to helped manage my current state of health and wellness at the beginning of this year.

Just want to take a minute to brag on Dr. Mark Wiggins. He is far and away the best doctor that my family and I have ever had; and we have had several. He is professional, knowledgeable, kind and very compassionate. He takes care of the patient inside out. He is mindful of and ministers to the spirit, soul and body. If he wasn't in Jonesboro and I knew there was someone out there like him, I would drive miles to be under his care. His character in my humble opinion is second to none. We as a community in Jonesboro are very fortunate and blessed to have him. I hope he chooses to stay in Jonesboro as long as he is practicing. Thank you for giving me space to honor him.

Long wait times for a appointment

The "no" response is because this was my first appointment with my new primary care physician.

Dr Wiggins is very knowledgeable and he is very familiar with my medical history. He listens to what I have to say and he always has helpful feedback.

Dr. Wiggins took a lot of time to talk with me about my health needs. Was very professional and made me feel very comfortable discussing my health needs with him.

While being a patient in front of the provider I felt Dr Wiggins took excellent care to accomplish everything. Getting the staff to follow up with the follow up care I required has been extremely painful. It is hard to get a call back, it is hard to get anyone on the phone that knows anything other than how to schedule an appointment.

Yes, Dr. Wiggins was fantastic. Very pleased with him. Very disappointed that I've not been called back. And I went in on Thursday with my results. I had to leave because I was unable to drive. And they were supposed to call with the results on Thursday, and I've yet to receive a call. Disappointed with that. I will never leave an appointment again. no matter what, I ended up being left by my ride anyway. So I'm still extremely sore, would really like to know the results of my test. So I feel partially responsible for having to leave, but I was told that I would be called. So they didn't work well with me on a time, but they did work me in the next day, so I really shouldn't complain about that. At all either just was not a good time for me to get a ride and get there so.

Dr. Wiggins is the person that will take the time with you and make sure your happy and comfortable with any new medication. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a doctor. He is the best.

My experience with Dr. Wiggins has been great. He is an excellent doctor! It's the hospital that I have a problem with. For operations, etc. , I'll go to L. R. or Mayo Clinic. My experience and the experiences of loved ones, and the stories I hear people share makes me want to go to other facilities.

To schedule an appointment, I had to leave a, stayed on the line for a long time, then had to leave a callback number, and then they called me back several hours later. I do not like this new system. I like talking to someone right away. If there's no one available, I just soon have a busy signal and call back later. I do not like the callback system that is in place. That does not treat you as an individual. You're just a number on a queue. Thank you.

I went to Urgent Care because I was feeling badly and did not have an appt with Dr. Wiggins. When I checked in, I was told that Dr. Wiggins had requested that his patients be able to see him if had time in his schedule and available to see them. That was such a nice touch. It felt like he really cared about his patients. He is always so kind and knowledgeable as he finds answers for my illnesses.

Everyone was so kind and considerate and I honestly felt better by just being able to talk to them and discuss a plan of healing. Thank you Dr. Wiggins and staff.

I rarely go to the doctor but Dr. Wiggins was amazing.

The changes made within the past year can be bothersome from a patient perspective. The new requirement of paying upon arrival is demeaning in my opinion. Medicine should not be operated as financial operation. On a positive note the tech that did my intake was very pleasant. She explained what she was asking and why it was important, which made me feel more comfortable providing the information.

An average of 45-60 mins wait time every visit is unreasonable. Also, the new trend of calling a patient back to check vitals and then sending them back out to the waiting area because "we don't have a room available" should be stopped. On my last visit, watched a man with a walker struggle to get out of his chair after being called back to have vitals checked, only to be sent back to the waiting area and do it all over again. More consideration should be taken for patients who have disabilities that make it difficult for them to get around.

I'm still waiting on a referral, I'm in a lot of pain, the doctor knows it ,and I haven't heard anything ,it's been 3 days

I was told a prescription for some type of pain cream for my knee would be called in. When I hadn't heard anything from my pharmacy by 1:00 pm the next day, I called my doctor's office and was told nothing had been called in, there was nothing in the chart. My number was taken for someone to call me back, which they didn't. When I left work at 4, I called the pharmacy and using the automated system, was told I didn't have scripts to pick up. I called the doctor's office again, actually got to speak to the nurse who said she had called the script in but would do so again and confirmed my pharmacy. She said something about me using the automated system at the pharmacy, but she was cutting in/out on the phone and I'm not sure what she said. I had to make a stop on my way home. I called my pharmacy again and spoke to someone this time. I wanted to confirm they had actually received at least one of the scripts that had been called/sent in. They had the script but informed me they wouldn't be filling it because it could be bought OTC. I don't know who is at fault here. The doctor's office for not knowing this script could be bought OTC or my pharmacy's failure to tell me they weren't going to fill the script when it was received. Either way, I'm not happy. I'm now waiting for yet another phone call to let me know if the OTC strength is what I need. This makes the 2nd time in a year that this doctors office has prescribed something they called in, only to find out that it could be bought OTC. The other time was a script for my husband.

It has always been a good experience. I have been treated kindly and professionally by everyone.

I had an appointment scheduled, but I was made to wait for over an hour before being seen. I understand that delays can happen, but consistently long wait times are frustrating-especially when patients take time out of their day to arrive on time. Our time is just as valuable as the doctor's. I also noticed that a large number of patients had appointments around the same time, which likely contributed to the delay. If the clinic is unable to accommodate so many appointments at once, it may be worth reconsidering the scheduling process to provide better care and reduce patient frustration.

Plan on making this my primary care.

Always treated with respect and given proper diagnosis. When something (a test) can't be done at the office he sends you to the proper facility to get it done.

I absolutely love St. Bernard's Healthcare in Jonesboro!! Dr. Wiggins is a wonderful doctor and I'm blessed to have him he truly cares about the needs of others and I am so grateful for a doctor that show such compassion for his patients.

Dr. Wiggins and his staff are very professional but yet caring. He listens to his patients and puts them at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable, and it is obvious that he keeps up with research.

My doctor is normally exceptional. This visit he was not. I did not feel listened to as I normally do. I felt rushed. When suggesting a certain treatment I was brushed off and then told no without an explanation. I felt like the doctor was angry with me. There was no particular reason or occurrence that caused that feeling, only the way he presented himself and the way he was short with responses. After saying no to my suggestion/ question about treatment he hurriedly rushed out of the room and did not give me the time to ask why he said no to the treatment. I actually cried on the way home because I felt unheard, dismissed, and wanting to change doctors or possibly find a doctor at NEA that would not make me feel this way. I left no better than when I entered the appointment. On top of being very ill I was blown away by the way he cut me off several times and denied me treatment that had worked several times in the past. I'm not a physician but I am knowledgeable about my conditions. I know what helps and what does not. It would have also been nice if he look me in the eye instead of my belly that sticks out because I'm fat. He couldn't seem to direct his attention to my face but rather look at my belly and then look away. This made me feel self conscious and embarrassed. I'm aware I am over weight but I'm also aware he should look me in the eye like a respectful provider. I honestly feel he had some sort of preconceived notion or bias against me. But not due to my body size. I feel like there was something more. My assumption is that he thought I wasn't taking care of my self or that I wouldn't use the treatment appropriately. The rest of the staff in the office were amazing, cheerful, made eye contact, made me feel comfortable and treated me like I was their top priority. They were a 10/10. Unfortunately the doctor did not meet my expectations especially due to my past appointments always been delightful as well as always feeling heard. I've never had an issue with him when it came to suggestions or requests due to me not requesting anything outlandish or harmful to my health. This visit was no different. I did not request or suggest anything out of the norm or anything that could possibly harm me in anyway. The denial of this request has only caused me further harm and extended my illness as well as made me miserable without the medication I know works well for me. I have lost sleep, felt miserable, and my quality of life has been affected by his refusal to agree. I'm not sure if he is being regulated as to how his practices medicine by St Bernard's itself or it was personal towards me. But I am currently looking for a new physician. I pay my copay and wait patiently because I know it is a busy office but if I can not receive the care that I once got from him my only choice is to find a new provider who will listen, not focus in on my body size, look me directly in my eyes like a grown man should, and treat me in a way that will h [Truncated]

The only thing I wish was different would be that he would be able to see all my care at all my different doctors more easily. It seems like some doctors' offices, even in the St. Bernard's system, he can't just get my records from and see them easily. And that makes it really hard to have continuity of care. That's all.
