Dr. Pennington was born in Memphis, TN then moved to Heber Springs, AR when he was 2 years old. He graduated from Heber Springs High School in 2011 and was drawn to practice medicine after seeing the positive impact his mother, a nurse, had on her community. In 2015, he received a BS in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. He attended medical school as part of the inaugural class at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Jonesboro, AR, and then completed his training with a residency in Family Medicine at UAMS North Central in 2023. He is engaged to his fiancé, Olivia. In his spare time, he enjoys being out on the water, hiking, climbing, streaming movies and taking care of his 2 dogs and 2 cats.
