I loved the compassion and care Dr. Chavez showed to me. He listened to what I had to say. Like my husband told him I would out talk him. When I'm nervous I tend to do that. He was patient and listened and took a good exam on me. Then told me what he thought and took blood work. Also came in shaking hands and left shaking hands. I love a doctor that makes you feel at home!!! Many today don't give you that feeling they make you feel like a number. We loved him!

Waiting time needs to improve

The staff and Dr Chavez were wonderful. The building is in need of repairs. Upon entry there was a crack/hole in the floor tile, I could see where someone with a walker or assistive device could stick in the hole and fall. Also the exam tables were very worn with torn upholstery.

Dr. Chavez and his team are very attentive and always answer my questions without making me feel foolish. I have the greatest confidence in their care for me.

It was very relaxing and wonderful news. I don't have to return until 12 months! I am so thankful. God isn't through with me just yet.

My first appointment with a new cardiologist after moving here from MS was very good.

Dr. Chavez is very kind, knowledgeable, and lets you be a part of your own treatment plan. He is very thorough and makes sure you are heard and have no questions or concerns before he leaves the room.

Most of your patients are elderly. A two hour wait is a very long wait when you have certain conditions. Thank you. Now I'm waiting for a call because I've been referred to a heart rhythm specialist. They said they would call me re that app. I hoping I'll get that call soon. Thank you very much.

The doctor was very nice. Besides my PCP he is the nicest doctor I think I've ever seen! If I ever have heart problems I'll be coming back to see him.

I always enjoy seeing Dr Chavez. He's a great person and Dr always treats you with respect don't get me wrong. Going to see a doctor. It just is not normally a pleasant thing to do but he puts you at ease, and we usually find something in common to talk about other than my health.

I first met Dr. Chavez when I was on the operating table, have 2 stents put in, Nov. 2022. From post-surgery follow up on, he has been wonderful--not like a surgeon you would see only on the hospital, or a different manner in the clinic environment. The staff is great, too.

It would be nice if the visit with the care providers actually took place at the time originally scheduled. There seems to be no point arriving ahead of schedule, since one takes a number and waits for extended periods before care providers appear. However, I do understand that there are so many of us.

The time after being in acute care , I feel was too long-3 months. My problem was entirely new to me. I felt I needed to be seen the first time earlier than 3 months. Even my primary care agreed.

I always get the best care from the staff here. I don't think there is anything they could have done better.

Everything went really well except I had a rather long wait time this time. I waited 55 minutes from my appointment time. I had an appointment at 10 and didn't get in there until 10:55 to see the doctor. So that was a little excessive. I'd like to see that a little less if possible. But other than that, everything else was great. Thank you.

I go to Dr. Chavez and I love him to pieces. He is so friendly, but so smart. And he can talk you into taking a test you don't want to take, but you'll go do it for him. The only problem I have with that clinic is I always leave from getting my blood taken with bruises. I don't know if y'all use bigger needles or what, but I always bruise up from it. Thank you. Bye.

I am not a fan of how appointments are made, especially follow-up. It seems to me and to eliminate having to later reschedule, it would be better to be able to make a follow up appointment as you were leaving your appointment. Instead, you receive a letter with an appt date that may or may not be acceptable. If I am there with my calendar and other appointments, I can easily see if an appointed time would work. This would finalize the next appointment and also remove the necessity of sending out letters for appointments that may not fit an individual's schedule. Thanks.
