Heidi Woessner, MD, is a board-certified neurologist who brings her expertise in general neurology to the RBI team at St. Bernards. Her specialty interests include stroke and headache management. Prior to joining RBI, Dr. Woessner dedicated over 10 years to the Piedmont Hospital system, where she served as Chief of Neurology for the 21-hospital network. Additionally, she was the Medical Director of the stroke program, playing a key role in its transition from a primary stroke center to a comprehensive stroke center. During her tenure, she managed a variety of neurologic conditions and held various roles in tele neurology services, providing care to patients nationwide. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and has previously participated in the AAN undergraduate education subcommittee. Dr. Woessner currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading and taking walks with her family.

Everyone did a wonderful job who took care of me and I'm glad I used this facility. I would definitely use this facility again as I don't trust many people with my care but I really trusted everyone who helped me. I will recommend people to use this facility anytime. Thanks to everyone who helped me and took good care of me.

My visits to the Neurologist are a result from a work related injury and the appointments and care are to be paid for by AmeriSafe insurance company, not by my personal insurance provider, AR BC/BS. StBernards NEVER gets this right and my BC/BS insurance gets billed for it. I have presented the receptionist with a letter from AmeriSafe stating this, but StBernards still gets it billed wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Very, very frustrating. Because of this, I will probably be looking for a new health care provider (Neurologist) to get me finished up with this injury/care. This has caused me a tremendous amount of trouble with both insurance carriers. Dr. Woessner is great, but without accurate billing, and the fact that nobody at StBernards will listen to me, I'll likely be seeking that care elsewhere.

I want to have an appointment date when I leave. The last two times I was there, they had to call me. The doctor wanted to see me in three months, and it was four months before I got an appointment. Thank you.

The dr visit went fine, and everything leading up to it went fine. After the dr terminated the call, I waited about 10 minutes and got up, stepped into the hallway and found the nurse that checked me in and asked if I was done and ok to leave.

Everything went really well except after my appointment I had to find somebody to show me how to get to checkout and I had a hard time keeping up with the lady who showed me where to go to get my blood work because I can't walk as fast as regular people. Other than that everything was great.

Dr. Woessner was polite, attentive and very knowledgeable regarding my health details. From a patient's point of view, those are wonderful traits. Dr. Woessner recommended a couple of prescriptions for me and then told me to send her a message after starting those meds if I had any concerns or issues. Very comforting.

Dr. Woessner indicated that she was there to prescribe medications. Otherwise, it would be a waste of my time to be there. I found this statement to be very disheartening.

If you're going to do a telemedicine appointment, you should do it so that I don't have to drive the two hours to your office to do the appointment, that I can just do it over the phone through y'all's app or something along the lines like that would make it way better. Right. It defeats the purpose of not attending an in-person appointment if you actually have to show up in person to do a telehealth appointment. Thank you. It wasn't two hours. It's a six-hour round trip from where we live.

I don't think my daily meds got called in because when I went to pick up my Nertec, I didn't have a second one that was supposed to be for daily use.

I have never met someone that cared so little about me as a patient. I have been seen at this clinic since August of 2023. I left this appointment in tears.
