Dr. George Williams was born in Northern Michigan and then moved to Missouri and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri. He attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University in East Tennessee and completed internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He returned to Memphis to begin practice at Memphis Lung Physicians Foundation from 2021 to 2024 and recently relocated to Jonesboro. He has one son, Vincent, who is the light of his life.

This is only the second time that I have seen Dr. George Williams. I really like him, he takes the time to explain everything to me so I understand completely and he really has a good bedside manner too. He seems to really care about his patients. It was a long wait time once I was in the exam room but the doctor apologized and explained the reason.

Dr Williams and his nurse took time to explain what I needed to know. They were courteous about my hearing problem and spoke so I could hear. I thought my test was abnormal and learned I was still within normal The Dr. also helped me understand my heart condition's relation to lungs.

Again, the service was good , except for the fact that I sat in a room alone , waiting for the doctor for over an hour. For that fact alone , I really couldn't enthusiastically tell anyone that they should try this place.

I really enjoyed my visit. Everybody was so friendly, the staff, the nurses. I was very impressed with Dr. Williams. He done an unbelievable help for me that I've been having issues with my asthma for years. And he finally found a result to help me so much that I'm grateful. He's improved my life drastically and he was very impressive with what he showed me in all of his tactics and his availability of helping me get through everything. Very little wait time in waiting room. However when I was called back and placed in a room, after a few minutes we were moved to another exam room. No explanation... the person that collected my vitals was very pleasant. The doctor listened, made a diagnosis, educated and demonstrated new med i was going to be placed on and will visit again in 3 months unless I had problems before. Overall very good experience.
