I am very pleased with Dr Akbary very knowledgeable and caring she treated me like I was family. From the time I checked in everyone was friendly and nice. Dr Akbarys nurse was the best she certainly knew her job

I think, focusing on finding more physicians could help, although I understand that it's likely very expensive and challenging. This would allow patient to call needing a check up, especially for concerns related to vaginal health. To be the same day. I'm not sure how feasible that is, but I wanted to share my thoughts. As well as speaking as a Hispanic woman, I find it very uncomfortable to have multiple doctors exam in my vaginal area I have a great respect for the work. Doctors and nurse is due, but within certain ethnic groups it can feel especially uncomfortable to be seen by different providers for such personal concerns. Whether the provider is male or female. I truly appreciate everything St. Benards has done for my family and I.

They were professional and the Doctor was Nice..

This was my very first time to see this gynecologist about my pap smear, and she made me feel extremely comfortable. She was extremely detailed with all of my questions. She answered, she listened. I loved her, and I would recommend her to absolutely anybody who is needing female healthcare.

awful experience. my doctor brushed off my concerns. barely even told me that i have an ovarian cyst before she got out of the door. so rude to be and was NOT listening to my concerns

Dr.Akbary is amazing! This is the first time since seeing an OB/GYN through St.Bernards that I truly felt listened to by a provider. She asks questions about everything and is very knowledgeable. She'll always tell you "come see me at your worst!" And I thank her for her work!

Being new to the area, this was my first time at this facility. The personnel were very good; I have no complaints about the quality of their care. That said, the business model seemed to result in long wait times--especially after one exchanges the outer lobby for the inner one (I think it was called the "nurses' waiting area"). The administration should look at this issue.

It was very nice doctor Akbary was very nice and helpful I had no problem when I needed her to answer questions she answered him to her best at knowledge and she gave me some examples on what she would do if she was in my case on what I was going there for

I felt listened to by Dr. Akbary and her team. I felt as if I was an important person who was worthy of their time and help and they made me feel very relieved to have a confident team.

Dr. Akbary is so kind. I've appreciated her both years I've worked with her.

We waited almost 2 hours in the secondary waiting room after she did her ultrasound. No communication wih anyone. I had to find someone to ask what was going on and told the provider was "running a little behind." I understand things happen in medical offices as I also work in the medical field but some communication would have been better than just sitting there.

Maybe an extra Gynecologist or nurse that can help me when my Gyno had to run to deliver two babies. I didn't get to ask a few things but I understand. My paperwork disappeared as well in the scramble. It's ok.

My new doctor was very nice. Nurse was incredible. However, the whole experience seemed more like a factory- move you in and move you out. I'm still looking for more specialized care for women 50 and above. I would also like to see more preventative care.

I feel like I wasn't heard enough about my pain. I was given one option and I felt like it was my only one.

Dr. FAUZIA AKBARY acted like I was wasting her time. She wasn't concerned about the information I was giving her about my problem. She even said the provider I had seen previously regarding the (redacted) that was removed, didn't look like that's what it was. It was a (redacted). She told me to come back and she would let me know if it was better. That wasn't the reason I was there. I put my medication on the form the receptionist gave me but the list of medications that was on the report wasn't correct. I plan on canceling the appointment in April because I don't want to be humiliated again.

I have been a patient of this clinic for 20 plus years. This visit was the worst experience I have ever had. The physician did not acknowledge my concerns or validate them. Pushed them off as "it's probably your age". I requested bloodwork to compare last years and she stated there probably wouldn't be much change. I was asked about hormone replacement therapy and I told her I didn't know that much about it. She stated a little about it and that I could do a trial period if I wanted to. When she did my pelvic exam she was almost robotic. She said "touch, touch and other touch, one finger, two fingers, pressure, pressure". After this I was almost in tears and she asked me if I wanted to do the bloodwork and hormone therapy which stated no! The exam lasted maybe 15 minutes at the most. In the past there has always been a nurse to assist Dr Rich or Dr Conger but not this Dr. I left and barely made it to my car before bursting into tears. I have never had an experience like this. I will not return to this clinic ever again. I am a person that deserves to be heard and did not feel my health concerns were validated. This was the most impersonal Dr visit I have ever had.

I was very disappointed with the care that Dr. Akbary provided. She normally treats patients who are pregnant or have delivered. I would recommend that she only sees those patients. I will definitely be requesting another Dr on my next visit.

They were all very kind.

Dr. Akbary acted like she didn't believe I have endometriosis. Almost treated me like I had self diagnosed myself and was restarting asking me my symptoms and said "yeah sounds like it that could be endometriosis" when I already have a diagnosis. I don't think she is the doctor I need to be seeing for my care and my issues but she is the one they said I would need to see since I am not 21 just yet. I will be in (redacted). I am not getting the care I need simply because of my age.

Dr Fauzia Akbary and her staff were excellent and caring. I will return if it becomes necessary.

When making my appointment I explained the reasoning and wanted an appointment as soon as possible with a provider that could accommodate my issue. I think it is weird that I was referred to see another obgyn for my issue when the the exam was over. It would have been more time effective to see an obgyn that could handle the issue initially instead of having to go back to see another provider.
