Dr. Emma Jacobs, Dr. Rudolph Bowens and St. Bernards Urology in Jonesboro, AR, have the honor of being named an InterStim™ Center of Excellence by Medtronic, the world’s largest medical device manufacturer. The distinction is awarded to a select group of physicians who have demonstrated exemplary expertise in the use of the InterStim™ system to treat overactive bladder (also known as OAB), as well as non-obstructive urinary retention and chronic fecal incontinence.

The designation as a Center of Excellence recognizes physicians and programs that have distinguished themselves as leaders in the InterStim therapy. I think you need to get some people that know how to draw blood. I had somebody that tried a one arm. They couldn't get it. Somebody else came in. I got bruises all over my arm because they couldn't get the blood. Then they called me to come back the next day because they didn't get enough or something like that. So it's the worst experience of getting blood that I've ever had. And it's, I've done that many, many times.

Well I was fortunate to not have cyst or tumors but I didn't feel there was a next step toward what is causing my problems. It took me two months to get in to the urologist and I'm just left with no answers.

Whenever I went to St. Bernard's to the ER, the doctor there wanted to do a CAT scan of my perineal area to get a good view on it. And Dr. Jacobs said that I would just follow up with her care, which is what I was doing, following up with her care. And I requested the CAT scan again to get a view of the area, which they didn't do. But I mean, that's okay. I mean, but it's been going on for I'm wishing five months now, so. I just figured it would be better to be proactive and get a view of it with the CAT scan. But everything else went pretty well.

Im a new patient only had urine tested... that was all she did. I dont know if she looked at my past info. Cause urine test was fine she said see u in 3 mths. Idk... i thought they would do more. I cant predict when im gonna have a UTI... and getting in to see her is hard, so i cant wait when i get UTI. I have to get treatment. Just wasnt happy with results. Dr Jacobs was super nice.

The provider did not listen. Been on a medicine for two months and she said to see her in one month after I've been on the medicine for one month and I've already been on the medicine for two months. So nothing was really accomplished. So very unhappy.

I have been utilizing st Bernard's since I was born and would not utilize any other hospital! I feel that st Bernard's is a top notch and up to date care facility, and is on par with those available in the larger nearby cities!!! I used to live the sisters as they cared for the patient's needs!!!

From the time you check in the young ladies at the front desk are friendly and very competent. The nurse who takes your blood was outstanding as well as all of the medical staff I came in contact with they were all very competent and caring. Dr. Jacob is a outstanding competent doctor!

I have been going to this clinic regularly for 3 years. I feel that the workers are doing their best, BUT, it is the most congested medical office of all of St. B offices. I don't know if they need more doctors or just more space! It is wild to me. It feels like people are almost walking over others trying to hurry and get their job done. I see a lot of St. B offices. Hardest to go to mentally. Love the people, but hate the rat race!

Yes, I had a 10 o'clock appointment and actually I had a 9.50 appointment. I sat beside several people with 24 people in that little small room with people in wheelchairs out in the entrance room and it was slow motion. All people that I talked to were scheduled in 20 minutes. I don't think that's a very well thing. That's not good for a doctor to see four people in 20 minutes. Much less it was freezing cold and people sitting outside by the door, by the parking lot at 10 degrees, 15 degrees. I'm not happy with you. I was, my doctor saw me for positive.

So I feel like customer service really needs to be improved, that you're acknowledged when you walk into the lobby. You may stand at the window for four, three, three to four minutes and no one ever looks at you or just gives you a, hey, just a second look or, you know, and I just feel like there's no customer service at this time.

One receptionist made me feel as though I was "Bothering" her when I went to the window to ask a brief question. Felt like I was hurried through my appointment and examine was not done that I was asked to undress for and cover with a sheet. Made me feel as though they thought I was unclean, so they didn't do examine. No one said that to me it is just how I felt. Maybe some were just having a bad day. The Nurse that took me back to examine room and asked questions was very nice and she listened to me. Check out ladies were and are always nice and helpful. First time I have ever left that office feeling that way about my visit.
