Dr. Ragland is an excellent physician and always seems to have my best interest at heart. He shows a genuine concern for me during my office visit and always addresses my needs. Unfortunately since he is so wonderful, everyone loves him and it is difficult getting an appointment to see him in a short amount of time. An appointment with Dr. Ragland must always be scheduled months in advance.

The lady who did the test was very professional

when I called for appointment I received an answering service, not a doctors office. I had to tell them everything and later told the clerk what I said to the answering service. Last couple of years I had called for an appointment, I was told it would be at least five weeks for me to see my primary Doctor......What is going on??

Each person treated me with respect, compassion and professionalism. I trust Dr. Ragland and his staff with all my medical needs.

Front office receptionists were not particularly unfriendly but not very personable.

All I had done was a blood draw. I had to make an appointment. I arrived on time. I had to wait 30 minutes for a 7:30 a.m. appointment.

The only thing I noticed. You need more office staff; there wasn't anyone checking you out. The other two ladies are busying checking people in, so there is a wait that's unnecessary.

1. The blood draw was quick and relatively painless. I wish I had asked her name so I could mention it here. 2. I had trouble hearing the recorded phone message I received asking me to confirm or cancel my lab appointment. I think it said press 1 to confirm and press 9 to cancel. Or maybe it was the other way around. Hard-of-hearing people, like me, hear the "n" sound in "one" and "nine." I could not distinguish what was being said. So I just hung up.

They need better communication with the patient. If it's emergency we should reschedule if they're going to be late. A nurse should come in and say I'm sorry for the wait time but we have technical difficulties. Sorry for the inconvenience. That's what she should've said.

Appointment was at 8:15am. Called back at 8:30. Doc came in at 9:15. He apologized for my wait and stated "Its Monday", which we can all relate to. I know people are busy but apologizing is a good thing to do because it let's the patient know that your time is valuable too.
