After 33 years as an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Barry Tedder has shifted his primary focus to his true passion: proactive preventive care for cardiovascular disease as well as risk reduction for diabetes, Alzheimer’s and general longevity medicine. Most of what him and his team do for heart disease risk applies to all other diseases of aging.

His primary passion and expertise is helping people with complex problems related to cholesterol, such as familial hypercholesterolemia, high triglycerides and insulin resistance. His goal is to help people live healthier lives as they age by assessing and treating risk factors for heart disease using advanced lipid testing, genetic testing, exercise and diet modifications, medications and supplements.

Dr. Tedder was thorough and meaningful with all results and treatment plans. He spent time explaining, comparing, and asking questions that prompted things I would have not thought to mention. Dr. Tedder appears to stay up to date on recent best practice and newest testing. I am thankful that Dr. Tedder listens and ask questions to try to put a puzzle together instead of dismissing symptoms and concerns.

Dr. Tedder has been my doctor for several years and I'm never disappointed in the amount of time that he gives me or the way that he listens to address my concerns. I logged in this morning to check my report from yesterday's visit and he had a 12 page document regarding the visit, which reflects the amount of time and consideration that he gave to my personal health. I am well pleased with his care and know that he is passionate about what he does and is more interested in helping his patients than he is in working for big pharmaceutical or corporate companies. The clinic staff were kind and respectful as well. Thank you all!

The staff was very kind. The staff was very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable during the test and even offered extra items to create a more comfortable environment. And everyone was kind and answered all the questions. It was a very positive experience.

I felt I was given lots of time with the doctor. I am still awaiting my lab results to see if the LDL particle size ratio is calculated. That was my main reason for this appointment. I also was hoping to hear more about a natural or nutrition based method for health care. Something more preventative and not something just treating the symptoms.

Dr. Tedder gave me the most attentive visit to a specialist healthcare provider visit I have ever experienced. He was as unrushed and thorough with his communication with me and his time and patience with me as he would have been if I had been his only patient for the entire day. I left the visit feeling completely seen, heard, and understood.
