Biography
Dr. John Cook is a Jonesboro native and has chosen to build his practice here helping to advance the techniques and solutions offered through surgery. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State University and earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He completed his residency in general surgery from LSU Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana before returning to Jonesboro in 1986 to begin his practice.
He is an active member of the Medical Staff at St Bernard Medical Center and The Outpatient Surgery Center of Jonesboro.
He is an accomplished surgeon and remains active in the Craighead-Poinsett County and Arkansas State Medical Societies as well as being a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
