Biography
Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Babar Khan joined St. Bernards Heart & Vascular in 2022 after completing fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, respectively. A native of Pakistan, Dr. Khan graduated from medical school in Karachi in 2012 and subsequently completed an Internal Medicine Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y.
Fluent in three languages as well as a published researcher, Dr. Khan holds certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, the National Board of Echocardiography, the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT) and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also Board Certified with ABIM in Interventional Cardiology.
In his spare time, Dr. Khan enjoys riding horses, swimming and playing cricket. He lives in Jonesboro with his wife, St. Bernards Cardiologist Dr. Sania Khan, and their daughter, Zara.
