Biography
Dr. Mednick competed his B.S. degree (in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology) at Purdue University. He attended New York Medical College where he received M.D. degree, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (in comparative neurosciences). He completed his neurology residency at University of Chicago and went on for fellowship training in neurophysiology (Montefiore Hospital, Albert Einstein School of Medicine), cerebrovascular disorders (Yale School of Medicine), and critical care neurology (Neurologic Institute at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons). He has over 24 years of experience treating the full spectrum of adult neurologic disorders both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. His specialty interests comprise geriatric neurology and neurodegenerative disorders. He has published a book on normal pressure hydrocephalus. Dr. Mednick is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
