St. Bernards Will Offer Series of Classes in Jonesboro and Paragould

Karan Summitt, health educator with the Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medi-Pak Advantage PPO program at St. Bernards, will present a series of classes on staying healthy during the holidays.

The six-class series will focus on delicious food ideas and fun ways to stay healthy during the holiday season.

Classes will be held in Room C at St. Bernards Health & Wellness, 1416 East Matthews Ave., in Jonesboro at 9 in the morning on Wednesdays Nov. 6, 13 and 20 and Dec. 4, 11 and 18.

The same classes will be offered at 9 in the morning on Tuesdays Nov. 5, 12 and 19 and Dec. 3, 10 and 17 in the family room at 7th & Mueller Church of Christ in Paragould.

Summitt will do cooking demonstrations and share holiday menu ideas and delicious recipes as well as share other tips related to the holidays. Those topics will include Aim NOT to Gain!, Sneaky Calorie Busters, Fighting the Flu and Colds, Busting the Holiday Blues, Non-eating Holiday Traditions and Staying Active.
