St. Bernards Will Host Nov. 8 Lunch & Learn on Alzheimer’s Disease

St. Bernards will sponsor a Lunch & Learn on Friday, Nov. 8, that will focus on Alzheimer’s Awareness.

Brian Rega, director of senior services/housing for St. Bernards, will present a program on Alzheimer’s Awareness.

To include a free heart healthy, diabetic friendly light lunch, the program is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. and will be held in a conference room at St. Bernards Health & Wellness, 1416 East Matthews Ave.

Persons interested in attending must register by calling 870-207-4912 or by emailing vvillegas@sbrmc.org by Tuesday, Nov. 5.

From 7 until 10 in the morning on the same day, St. Bernards will offer free screenings at Health & Wellness. Those will include anemia, glucose, lipid panel, blood pressure, weight, height and body mass index. Participants are encouraged to come to the screening fasting in order to get more accurate results.

The program is presented by St. Bernards Healthcare and Genetech.
