For the fifth consecutive year, St. Bernards has been recognized in the Arkansas Business program Best Places To Work.
St. Bernards joins 35 other businesses in the state and will be honored at a special luncheon Sept. 20 in Little Rock. At that time the 2017 “winner” and official “finalists” will be announced, along with the rankings of the 36 firms who qualified for 2017 recognition.
The program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Arkansas and was created by Arkansas Business and Best Companies Group.
To be considered, companies had to fulfill the following requirements:
Be a for profit, a not-for-profit business or a government entity
Be a publicly or privately held business
Have a facility in Arkansas
Have at least 15 employees in Arkansas
Be in business a minimum of one year
Companies throughout the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work. The first part consisted of evaluation of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. That part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation.
The second part, worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation, consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combine scores determine the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed data and determined final rankings.
Winners will be revealed at the September awards ceremony and then published in a special supplement of Arkansas Business on Sept. 25.
