St. Bernards Hospice is hosting bereavement and grief support group on Tuesday through Nov. 3.
Sessions are planned for 7 to 8 each Tuesday evening at 2919 East Matthews, Suite A. The program, designed to help individuals and families with the process of healing after the loss of a loved one, is being led by Harold Biazo, licensed social worker.
The new grief support group has been made possible by a generous gift from the Ruth and Dan Lynch family. Other four-week sessions will be held at later dates and at other outreach locations.
St. Bernards Hospice also has a grief and bereavement support group that meets at 2 p.m. every fourth Thursday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 East Matthews Ave.
St. Bernards offers both in-home hospice care and inpatient hospice care at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. It has been offering hospice care for more than 25 years.
