The St. Bernards Advocates will host the 2016 Butterfly Release on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 2, in the area between the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House and the St. Bernards Imaging Center on East Matthews Ave.
The event is designed as a day of celebration and remembrance, and will begin at 2 p.m. Highlight of the program will be the release of 600 Monarch butterflies.
This year marks the first time butterflies have been sold out prior to the release.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, the first residential care facility for hospice patients in Northeast Arkansas.
