Dr. Matthew Hendrich has joined physicians at St. Bernards Heart & Vascular as a vascular and endovascular surgeon
He earned his M.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed both a general surgery residency and a vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at UAMS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Harding University in Searcy.
Hendrich specializes in diagnosis and treatment – both surgical and nonsurgical – of peripheral vascular occlusive disease (narrowing of arteries other than those that supply blood to the heart and the brain) and aneurysmal disease involving the carotid, upper extremity, lower extremity, intrathoraci and intrabdominal arteries as well as the aorta. He also specializes in the management of venous disease and dialysis access.
He performs both open vascular surgery and minimally invasive vascular surgery.
Hendrich grew up in Vilonia and is married to Lindsey Jones Hendrich, who grew up in the Clover Bend area. He enjoys hunting, fishing, wildlife management and spending time with family and friends.
He is one of 22 new physicians in the St. Bernards Class of 2016.
