Dr. Devi Nair, electrophysiologist with St. Bernards Heart and Vascular, will be the reader for the Stories in the Forest program at The Mall at Turtle Creek on Saturday, April 7.
She will read the book “Flight of the Last Dragon” by Robert Burleigh.
Dr. Nair, chair of the upcoming St. Bernards Medical Group Health and Fitness Expo, is reading to promote the event, which will be held Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15 at First National Bank Arena.
The Stories in the Forest program gives parents some quality time with their children and exposes children to some favorite books of local residents. It is sponsored by the St. Bernards Women’s Council, a group of about 120 area women who have joined together in an advisory role to give input on important healthcare issues impacting women and children. They encourage educational as well as service outreach efforts designed to make Jonesboro a better place to live, work and raise families.
Stories in the Forest is scheduled for 3 p.m. at St. Bernards Fun Forest located at The Mall at Turtle Creek on Saturday, April 7. Stories in the Forest is free and open to the public.
