Connie Stevenson, retired Jonesboro banker and president of Altrusa International of Jonesboro, will serve as reader on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 3, at Stories in the Forest at The Mall at Turtle Creek. St. Bernards will host a Lunch and Learn on diabetes as well as community health screenings on Friday, Oct. 9, at St. Bernards Health & Wellness, 1416 East Matthews Ave. Natalie Marotti, registered nurse in Diabetes Management at St. Bernards, will be the presenter at the Lunch & Learn. She calls the program “Diabetes 101,” and will discuss effective ways to help manage the chronic disease that affects 20 million Americans. ...
