St. Bernards will host a Lunch & Learn on Friday, Dec. 11, that will feature a presentation by Dr. Mark Sifford, on advances in treating severe asthma. The pulmonary disease specialist will talk about a new treatment called bronchial thermoplasty that helps adult patients with severe asthma who continue to experience asthma symptoms or quality-of-life limitations and who are not well controlled on high-dose medications.St. Bernards is the only facility in Arkansas at which patients can take advantage of this
