Pediatric Hospitalist Cassandra Nosser, M.D. has joined the medical team at St. Bernards Medical Center. Dr. Nosser arrives at St. Bernards after serving as the medical director of the pediatric hospitalist program for Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala.
A native of Mississippi, Dr. Nosser earned her doctorate of medicine and master’s in biomedical science from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She completed her resident training in pediatrics with the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
St. Bernards Medical Center Administrator Michael Givens said Dr. Nosser’s experience bolsters the hospital’s ability to provide specialized care for children.
“We are excited to have Dr. Nosser join the St. Bernards team, especially with her background caring for children in a hospital setting,” Givens said. “As a regional provider hub, we believe Dr. Nosser will be a tremendous asset for St. Bernards Medical Center.”
Dr. Nosser holds board certification in Pediatrics with the American Board of Medical Specialties. She lives in Jonesboro with her husband and three children.
