
St. Bernards Total Life Healthcare has appointed James Murrey, MD, as its new Medical Director.
Dr. Murrey received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine and has been in practice for over 36 years. Previously he has served as a Family Medicine Specialist in Northeast, Ark. and has been affiliated with many hospitals including Five Rivers Medical Center, St. Bernards Medical Center and NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.
“I look forward to working closely with all the talented medical professionals on the Interdisciplinary Team at Total Life Healthcare in this new role,” said Dr. Murrey. “By joining forces and using our collective resources we are able to care for the elderly population in a way that better meets their unique needs. I welcome the opportunity to promote excellence in geriatric patient care and program growth in Northeast Arkansas.”
In his new role as Medical Director, Dr. Murrey will support the mission of Total Life Healthcare by enabling seniors age 55 and older to live independently and safely in their homes as long as possible.
