St. Bernards Medical Center Named as one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work

St. Bernards Medical Center has been selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. 

This award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry nationwide. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey. 

“All of us at St. Bernards Medical Center are honored to be named as one of the nation’s Best Places to Work,” said Michael Givens, Administrator of St. Bernards. “We want each employee who works here to feel valued and empowered to offer patients Christ-like healing every day.”

Companies from across the country entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work. The first part consisted of evaluating workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation.

The second part consisted of a survey in which Best Companies group selected 400 employees at random to measure employee experience. The survey was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed data and determined the final rankings.
