St. Bernards is hosting its annual Heart Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 14 at the St. Bernards Auditorium, located at 505 E. Washington.
The luncheon, which is free and open to the community, will feature a heart-healthy meal, a showcase of St. Bernards services and a panel with St. Bernards Heart and Vascular team members, including cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiac, thoracic, vascular and endo-vascular surgeons, and other members of the heart care services team.
The event is planned as part of the emphasis on heart health during the month that traditionally has been recognized as American Heart Month. A brief program will feature St. Bernards Heart and Vascular physicians discussing heart disease and answering questions from those in attendance. Physicians will talk about types of heart disease and treatments available locally.
They will touch on diagnosis and testing as well as services offered through St. Bernards – including new services, the Heart Attack Treatment Center, the St. Bernards Delta Ridge STEMI Network, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, heart surgery, peripheral artery disease treatment and much more. The doors open at 11 a.m. and lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free, but RSVPs are requested. Please register online by calling the St. Bernards Healthline at 870.207.7300.
