May 22, 2019
Highland Clinic Grand Opening

St. Bernards Healthcare recently hosted an official grand opening for the St. Bernards First Care Clinic in Highland.

The clinic, in partnership with Highland School District, also houses the Highland School Based-Clinic, which is open to employees and students of the district.

“St. Bernards is excited to open this First Care community health clinic open to all residents, offering exceptional care to everyone in the Highland area,” said John Lieblong, Vice President of Physician Services for St. Bernards Healthcare. “We are also proud to partner with the Highland School District for this School-Based Health Center, which will offer a comprehensive health clinic for students and faculty including wellness exams, preventative medicine, acute illness care and ongoing treatment options for a host of healthcare needs.”

St. Bernards currently has a team of experienced physicians, APRNs and clinicians, including Dr. Nick Guinn and APRN Venita Ninemire, who will provide care at the Highland First Care Clinic.

With the Highland School-Based Clinic, leaders hope to see significant improvements in health-related problems these students are encountering while also reducing absenteeism.

St. Bernards First Care is located at 1995 US 62. Hours for the clinic are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. On Fridays, the clinic is open 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 870.856.5620, and walk-ins are accepted.
