Spin-A-Thon Scheduled for Jan. 25
The St. Bernards Spin-A-Thon will be held Friday, Jan. 25 at Brickhouse Bar and Grill in downtown Jonesboro. This annual cycling event, which includes an additional yoga class this year, is a fundraiser for women’s and children’s services at St. Bernards.
During Spin-A-Thon, spin classes will be held every 45 minutes from 6 p.m. until 10:15 p.m. Participants may sign up for one class or multiple classes. Each spin class will be 30 minutes and will be taught by a separate certified spin instructor and the registration fee for each is $45. The entry includes a 30-minute spin class, two free drinks and a special participant prize.
For those wishing to support the event without cycling, a “spirit rider” option is available. For $20, individuals will receive two drinks, while getting to enjoy the festivities and cheer on the riders. New this year to Spin-A-Thon is the addition of YoMosas, an event featuring one 45-minute yoga class taught by Bethany Davis. This class – which costs $15 and includes one free mimosa – will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at noon at Brickhouse.
The proceeds from Spin-A-Thon will support all women’s and children’s services through St. Bernards, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which is the only such unit in the region.
