Ronald Sismondo, Jr., MD, has joined Jonesboro Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine specializing in orthopedic surgery. Sismondo obtained his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the State University of New York - Upstate Medical University Hospital. Following residency, he completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
He has previously worked with the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, Houston Dynamo and the University of Houston as an assistant team physician.
