Medical Hematologist/Oncologist Dr. Humdum Durrani Joins St. Bernards

Dr. Humdum Durrani, medical oncologist/hematologist, has joined the medical team at St. Bernards.

Dr. Durrani completed his Bachelor degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and he earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2007. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York University - Langone's Brooklyn Campus, following which he completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at East Carolina University, where he served as Chief Fellow.

Since that time, in addition to patient care, he has been involved in various projects in Arkansas dealing with improved access to cancer care as well as cancer screening services. He has also been involved in developing the Pulmonary Nodule Clinic in Fort Smith, multiple educational activities for providers, as well as outreach activities in the community.

He moved to Northeast Arkansas from Fort Smith with his wife Naureen, his daughter and his two sons, both of whom were born in Arkansas.
