Everything You Need All In One Place

The team at St. Bernards Cancer Center is extremely excited about the “re-opening” of its facility. The newly renovated cancer center is located at 405 East Jackson Ave, on the St. Bernards main campus in downtown Jonesboro. The Cancer Center opened in 1991 as the only facility in the region treating cancer patients. Since that time, the cancer program has grown tremendously and now focuses on a comprehensive approach by offering access to advanced technology and innovative treatments, including radiation oncology, hematology/medical oncology, outpatient infusion, oncology nutrition and social services. One of the most exciting aspects of the move is that ALL St. Bernards Cancer services will be consolidated under one roof. Hematology/medical oncology patients formerly seen at St. Bernards Clopton Clinic will now be seen at the Cancer Center. That means treatment just got easier for hundreds of Northeast Arkansas residents. Some of the services we offer include:

  • Comprehensive Multi-disciplinary Tumor Conference
  • Genetic Testing & Counseling
  • Drug Research
  • Breast Assured Program
  • Lung Cancer Screening
  • Radiation Therapy using two Linear Accelerators
  • PET/CT Imaging
  • Specialized Chemotherapy Pharmacy
  • Infusion Therapy in a special unit that has 26 infusion stations as well as two private infusion rooms
  • Three Radiation Oncologists (Drs. Lynch, Allgood and Okoye)
  • Three Medical Oncologists (Drs. Monté, Khalil and Farooq)
  • Two Gynecologic Oncologists (Drs. Tillman and ElNaggar)
  • Specialized Oncology Lab
  • Four Cancer Navigators
  • State Certified Cancer Registry Program

St. Bernards has the most experienced cancer program in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. Throughout the St. Bernards service area, the burden of cancer is particularly large and exceeds the national average. Roughly 16,500 new cases of cancer are diagnosed every year with the most common forms being breast, lung, colorectal and prostate. St. Bernards treats patients who come mostly from a 23-county service area, including patients who often represent the sickest of the sick and poorest of the poor. We work every day to reduce the burden of cancer in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri and to improve the quality of care for all our cancer patients. St. Bernards is the region’s leader in cancer care with the most experienced cancer team.
