Group Exercise Classes
Group exercise classes are held seven days a week at various times, to fit your schedule. Classes are led by qualified, certified group exercise instructors who will motivate and guide you to meet your fitness goals. We have classes for fitness enthusiasts, novice participants and specialized populations.
In addition to our basic group exercise schedule, we offer a great selection of classes designed specifically for the active older adult. Additionally, Arthritis classes in our Warm Water Therapy Pool help maintain mobility and increase strength. At St. Bernards Health & Wellness, most classes are included in your membership. Specialized training classes, such as X-Cel, require a separate fee due to the training being very specific and specialized for the participant.

Strengthen and lengthen the body’s large muscle groups, develop overall coordination via basic ballet , steps, and short combinations.
Basic yoga will guide you through yoga's most common postures with breath work and mindfulness. The beginner and veteran can appreciate the combination of movement and quiet leaving you with a renewed energy.
A free-weight functional training circuit class. An exciting and fun hour packed full of exercises that keep you moving throughout the room, burning calories and building strength. It is a perfect class for all fitness levels as all the exercises can be modified to your ability. The focus is on working the entire body for muscular balance and a sculpted look.
Buns n Guns
Buns N Guns is a workout that is all about symmetry. This high intensity circuit class is designed to not only give you a full body workout, but make you sweat! This class will incorporate various strength training exercises. Buns N Guns Level 1 is structured to the beginner and intermediate levels at a 30 minute duration. Buns N Guns Level 2 is for advanced levels and for members that have attended a regular Buns N Guns class 6 months prior.
This class will combine cardio, stretching and strength training to burn calories, increase flexibility and tine muscles.
Hatha Yoga 2/3
Great practice for intermediate students and above to insure safety and an enjoyable experience. Meditation, deep stretching, yoga breathing techniques and active sun salutations as well as mid to challenging asanas (poses) will be offered in every class.
Heated Flow Yoga
Heated flow to sweat, challenge the mind and body, and find peace at week's end.
Hot Strong Detox Yoga
Intermediate level yoga class in a heated room designed to increase flexibility, sweat out toxins, and build core strength.
The class is a great full body workout. The focus of each class is proper alignment, weight distribution and regulated respiration. Learning proper form in all of the exercises will help you receive full therapeutic benefits and avoid injuries. The practice of this yoga will help you build strength, flexibility, concentration, balance and relaxation.
is wonderful for people with arthritic and physical limitations. It is performed with deep stretch poses are done on the floor, and the use of a lot of props, such as bolsters, blankets and blocks allows the body to settle, the muscles to relax and open in a gentle way.
A Low Impact (easy on your hips and knees) Line Dancing class for all age groups! A fun way to get your cardio in for the day!
SilverSneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SliverSneakers® ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for stnading support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Spinning classes can be a great way to get in a vigorous workout -- burning calories and keeping your muscles in shape. Varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities are tailored to meet your personal goals and needs. Newcomers should plan to arrive early to be fitted to their bike.

Total Body Turnup
Total Body Turnup is a 45 minute class that combines free and body weight exercises with short cardio circuits. This class is designed to keep you moving at all times! With an upbeat instructor and fun atmosphere, this miniature bootcamp is a great way for the everyday person to challenge themselves and get a rewarding early morning total body workout.

Everyone is welcome! Teachers will provide modifications and variations to deepen poses so that you can adjust the practice to suit your needs.
Core strength, control and functional flexibility are sound concepts put to work in this 15 minute class.
Zumba fuses hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout that feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got ZUMBA®!
