Our Emergency Department
St. Bernards Emergency Services and Trauma Center provides around-the-clock comprehensive treatment for emergency situations. St. Bernards sees over 60,000 patients in the Emergency Department each year and is the only Level III Trauma Center in the region.
Please enter on South Church Street. Emergency Department parking is available.
The St. Bernards Emergency Department is always open and staffed with state-of-the-art equipment and well-educated medical staff members.
So why shouldn’t you use it for minor ailments like a sore throat or a cold?
Check out this video response from Dr. Randy McComb, emergency medicine physician and medical director of the ED, to learn why visiting the ED needs to be reserved for true emergencies.
