Behavioral Health - Craighead Crisis Stabilization Unit
If you're 18 or older and in distress but not in immediate danger, you can call 870.393.5335 to reach the Craighead County Crisis Stabilization Unit. This 24/7 facility offers a safe, supportive place to stay while you navigate a mental health crisis or cope with a traumatic event. After a nurse evaluates your condition, you may stay up to a few nights at the unit or be referred to either St. Bernards Behavioral Health or the St. Bernards Emergency Department, depending on your needs. You are free to leave when you feel ready to continue with outpatient care. Please remember—if you're experiencing a medical emergency, go directly to the Emergency Department. The unit is operated by St. Bernards Medical Center in partnership with Jonesboro county officials.
