The Health & Fitness Expo, April 11 - 12, 2015 at the ASU Convocation Center,is a unique physician-led event open to the public. Featuring 300 exhibitors, free health screenings and free educational seminars, it’s a special weekend dedicated to you and your family’s health.
Led by St. Bernards Medical Group doctors with strong commitments to community healthcare, the vision for the Expo is to heighten awareness and improve wellness for people throughout the region.
Benefiting the St. Bernards Development Foundation, the Expo helps St. Bernards fulfill its mission of providing Christ-like care to the community.

St. Bernards is now accepting applications for this summer's Junior Volunteer Program that runs from July 10th-July 31st. This is a great program that is designed to encompass volunteerism and education. The program allows students (aged 15 – 18) an opportunity to volunteer in a hospital setting where they will explore careers and gain experience in helping others. Participants will gain hands on experience in surgery, laboratory, nursing, radiology, rehabilitative services, exercise science, pharmacy and more! 15 students will be accepted into this three-week program.

As a St. Bernards Junior Volunteer you’ll be dedicating your time to an exceptionally worthy cause, helping us fulfill our mission to provide Christ-like healing to the community through education, treatment and health services.

Application deadline - Friday, May 8, 2015.
Participants must be between the ages of 15 and 18 (turn 15 by July 10) and available to complete the full three week program running July 10 through July 31.

Presented by The Women’s Council of the St. Bernards Development Foundation and sponsored by St. Bernards Senior Services at the St. Bernards Auditorium, 505 East Washington, Jonesboro, Arkansas. No admission will be charged, although donations will be accepted.
Members of area quilt guilds and other quilters from Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee will display some of their favorite works along with works by fiber artist, spinners of yarn, and knitters. We will also have displays for crochet, smocking, and other fiber arts. To enter any items in the show, you can download the appropriate form from the box on the right. Please carefully read and comply with all requirements on the forms.
One of the highlights of the show is the Raffle Quilt. For 2014 members of the Loose Threads Quilt Club in Jonesboro will make and donate the quilt. Raffle tickets are $3 each or 4 for $10 and may be purchased at the Foundation office, from members of the Women’s Council, members of the quilt club, and at the door. The drawing for the quilt will be at the show on Sunday afternoon, April 19, at 3:00 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.
For the Gift Gallery, all quilters and sewers are asked to contribute hand-made items for the auction i.e. baby blankets, youth and lap quilts, pillow cases, wall hangings, knitted and crocheted items, handbags, travel bags, etc., and other items related to quilting and fiber arts.
Net proceeds from these two fund-raisers will benefit the St. Bernards Villa Memory Center in Jonesboro.
