Shea went above and beyond for a patient who was readmitted multiple times in a month. She suspected mistreatment at home and financial misuse by the family, so she filed an APS report. When those efforts went unheard, she continued to fight, sitting down with Mid-South and an officer involved with the home visits. Shea ensured a thorough investigation and helped the patient transition to a safer group home, where they’ve remained since. Shea is dedicated, compassionate, and unafraid of hard work.
