Gracie showed up with a warm smile and was met by me, a patient with a ruptured lumbar disc. Pain level 10/10 and unable to walk or stand. Gracie quickly and calmly helped me position and find a comfortable way to rest. She had a warm demeanor and willingness to listen and adjust my plan of care. Gracie was punctual with medications and assessments. She helped explain the medication options and benefits of each. She took time to teach the benefits of early ambulation and how to use the incentive spirometer.  Most of all, beyond delivering flawless nursing care, she was warm and empathetic. She made our visit actually enjoyable, encouraging a speedy recovery
