I gave birth at 27 weeks in 2019. My baby's condition required transfer to UAMS, Dr. Vance maintained close communication ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care. Given the complications, UAMS advised against future pregnancies. However, 5 years later, I longed for another baby & decided to consult Dr. Vance. She empathized with my feelings & expressed understanding. She realistically explained the risks, but also offered support to try again, giving me hope & alleviating a lot of my anxiety. During my second pregnancy, she provided intensive & exceptional care. Despite the odds, we reached 37 weeks gestation & she preformed a scheduled C-section. I did have more complications but Dr. Vance’s expertise ensured a much more successful outcome. A year ago I never would have imagined it possible that I would have a healthy full term infant in my arms. Dr. Vance’s unwavering dedication has enabled me to have both of my kids with me today, I am forever grateful.
