My 77 year old father had a heart attack and was transported to St. Bernards for heart by-pass surgery. Dad had never experienced any cardiac issues, so clearly none of us were prepared for such an event or a major surgery. The above names nurses (Sierra, Ashley, Chelsea) were extremely patient and caring with our entire family. They took the time to explain all of the pre-op information, what to expect with the surgery and post surgery. They went above and beyond to ensure my father was comfortable with his understanding and all of the family as well. They provided good updates throughout the stay and additional information when we made room visits and throughout the process. They also reserved a family room for us to utilize and any amenity we needed throughout the stay. They all truly exhibited compassion and patient service at its best. If I personally had a position that any of them would fit, I would hire any or all of them. St. Bernards should be proud of this team.
